The editor is neither theologically trained nor a scholar of Greek or Hebrew. Errors may therefore have been introduced while transcribing these documents from Dr Oakley's hand written notes. The editor would therefore welcome constructive comment on references, Greek text or Hebrew text.

Dr Oakley hand wrote his notes in a compact form on A5 paper with no line breaks. The editor has inserted paragraph breaks to aid the reader and where a change of thought is indicated in the original notes.

In his earlier sermons, Dr Oakley consistently used the King James Version. Later he used the New International Version.

The editor has indicated in the text where the hand written notes are unclear.

It is intended to add 1 or 2 sermons a week over the coming months. The editor would be delighted to receive suggestions from you on what section of Dr Oakley's notes to publish next.
